Reserving A Unit And Moving In

  • How do I rent a storage unit?

Renting is simple! You can select and reserve your unit online or give us a call. Units are rented on a month-to-month basis with no deposit required. Payment can be made online, over the phone, or in person.

  • Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

No long-term commitment required. All rentals are month-to-month, giving you the flexibility to stay as long — or as short — as you need.

  • Does the unit come with a lock?

Units do not include a lock. We recommend the Master Lock or Brinks Disc Padlock for reliable security.

  • What do I need to do when I move out?

We are sorry to see you go! When you are ready to vacate, please follow these steps:

    • We do not require advanced notice to vacate
    • Remove all belongings from your unit
    • Remove your lock from the unit
    • Notify us when you are fully moved out
    • We will inspect the unit and mark it as officially vacant

Please note: Rent is NOT pro-rated. Units are billed on a full month-to-month basis. We hope to serve you again in the future!

    • 30 Days Past Due: an additional $50 will be applied.

Protect My Belongings

  • Do I need storage property protection / insurance?

We highly recommend that all stored belongings are covered by insurance. Whether through your homeowner's policy, renter's insurance, or a dedicated storage protection plan, having coverage gives you peace of mind in the event of unexpected damage or loss. Please contact us if you have questions about coverage options.

  • How much does storage property protection cost?
    • $8.95 per month - Up to $1,000 in personal property damage
    • $11.95 per month - Up to $5,000 in personal property damage
    • $21.95 per month - Up to $10,000 in personal property damage
    • $40.95 per month - Up to $20,000 in personal property damage

Your insurance provider may also be able to provide coverage options. Please contact your provider to see if your policy does cover your belongings. If your homeowner’s insurance, renters’ insurance, etc., policy covers your belongings, we will require more information.

  • How much property protection do I need?

The amount of coverage you need depends on what you will be storing in the unit. One way to estimate the value of what you will be storing is the cost of replacing something if it becomes damaged.

  • How do I cancel the property protection policy?

We are ready to assist you in any way, including cancelling your property protection policy (if it was purchased through us). If your insurance was through your personal insurance provider, please contact them directly.

  • How to Keep Mice and Bugs Out of a Storage Unit?
    • Pack items in plastic totes with airtight lids rather than cardboard boxes
    • Never store food or drinks inside your unit
    • Keep items raised a couple of inches off the ground
    • Cover mattresses and upholstered furniture
    • Use natural pest deterrents
    • Use FRESH CAB Rodent Repellent (available on Amazon)
    • Place cedar blocks in a bowl on a shelf — cedar is a natural deterrent
    • Apply a few drops of lavender or peppermint essential oil on cotton balls and place around the unit
    • Tuck lavender dryer sheets among your stored items — the strong scent repels mice
    • Visit your storage unit regularly
